Lync Mediation Server CANCEL problem
You may encounter with the Mediation Server SIP CANCEL problem when your SIP trunk operator doesn’t send the “Session Progress” or “Ringing” status messages quick enough. According to my measures it tends to be 6 seconds available for the operator to send back something useful. If they are too slow, Mediation Server will just CANCEL the call.
To solve this problem you have to fine-tune the OutboundRouting.exe application:
Contact Center platforms based on Lync
I did a little research on Contact Center applications which are based on Lync. What I mean here that application can only work with Lync, the product is not a stand alone Contact Center solution which is integrated to Lync. I will not list and compare features, since everyone can go to the websites and study them. What I will list here is some demo videos which can give you some feeling about the solution. The order of products doesn’t represent the relevance, price or anything, simply listed randomly.
Exam 74-322: Microsoft Lync Server 2010—Advanced Design and Deployment Beta Exam is available
The beta of the new Lync exam 74-322 is available to be taken at no cost for the selected Microsoft partners. The exam will be required for Lync gold competency level by October 2012.
